Is there a way to test if midi notes are received at all in the console? Something like a "network monitor" for midi notes, so that I could see what the console receives, if it receives anything at all.Is it possible to receive MSC or LTC with the MQ60 without an interface?.

To get MSC commands I would still need an interface. Meanwhile, I read that the MQ60 natively supports Midi but no MSC commands. So I start to wonder if any signals are send at all. Note 45 on chan 1 to activate playback 1 and note 46 on chan 1 to PB go for playback 1. Then I inserted 2 items in the Macro > Autom window. On the chamsys side, in Setup > Midi, I set Decode timecode to none, Midi IN to "Any chan". My example was: 2 cues with notes number 45 & 46, on channel 1 with velocity 1. I tried to send MIDI notes (MIDI Voice Message "Musical MIDI") as well from Qlab, created a cue stack on playback 1 with several cues. I tried to play with the settings in Setup > Midi but that did not do any good. Now I tried several things like: Sending MSC Ques from QLab to MQ60, having QLab generate timecode (LTC and MTC) and catch it with the console, with no results. The Scarlett 8i6 (Midi out) is connected through a midi cable to the MQ60 (Midi IN). Qlab detects the interface and the midi output should be correctly mapped to the Scarlett 8i6. The audio-interface is connected to the macbook and working. 1m MIDI cable (not relevant, but to complete the picture). For the moment I was just playing around to get to know the concepts. The final purpose in the long haul would be a cue list in Qlab triggering sound, and lights in a theatrical performance or maybe to program a song entirely to an external control.

QLAB MIDI CODE
I was trying to experiment with Midi or time code controlling chamsys but until now with very limited success.
